I'm listening to a supposedly “live” of the Carling Cup finals (my beloved Blues versus the Reds) on BBC Radio's Five Live (via the www.bbc.co.uk website). It's not as exciting as watching the game on the telly, but it's enough as I seem to not have coverage of English football matches via my cable company 🙁 — that, or I'm too lazy to check if it's on Pay-Per-View pah! They're in extra time right now (1st period), the score's at 1-1; I think I predicted before that I wanted my Blues to win 3-1; I think it's still possible… The funny thing is, they've sent off Jose Mourinho! Unfortunately, I just got up a few minutes ago, so I didn't hear the entire match. LOL.
Back to my snow adventure. Talk about dead tired.
After typing my blog entry last night, I had supper and I could barely chew and stay awake during the entire meal! I did manage to finish what was on my plate, managed to brush my teeth and managed to make it to the bed where I plopped down and slept for like 11 hours (or summat). ^_^
I haven't been that adventurous since I was a kid.
Football break: Drogba footed it in — Chelsea's ahead in the 2nd period of extra time; 2-1! YAY!
I say that I haven't been that adventurous because most of the runs I went on yesterday were mostly intermediate and it's not like the snow was nice and fluffy like in Mammoth (when we went on the intermediate runs there), the snow @ Mt. Baldy was somewhat icy and the trails were bumpy. Except for their mini-terrain park and nursery slopes, the said intermediate slope was somewhat steep for my tastes…
Football break: Kezman scores! — CHELSEA IS at 3-1; It's my DREAM COME TRUE. Or rather, prediction (sans for a Lampard goal) come to fruition!
I suppose taking those intermediate runs was good in the long run; Why? because I went on a double-bloody-diamond at the end of the day >.< Yes, I was stupid enough to think that I could...
Football break: CRAP. Liverpool scores. 3-2; and Kezman's been booked; 7 minutes to go >.<
…go. Well, I did and I made it down relatively safe, not after a few “breather” breaks. I think I was more scared because of the fog in my glasses and the thought of going into the stream and freezing to death in the water. That and we had no clue where the hech to go (we knew we had to go down of course :P); I think, 7 minutes later, I made it down — ALIVE — and quite tired. That didn't stop me from cutting through the snow and climbing down to the street where I landed on both my knees and hands! LOL. I didn't want to walk around the winding street and decided to make my own path through the edge. I suppose I should've just walked 😀
Ok, I gotta end this; Too excited to write on here and listen to the radio commentary at the same time. ^_^
Oh yah, money shot:
Football break:
CHELSEA BEATS LIVERPOOL! 3-2 HUZZAH!
