Well, my summer is officially over. Back to work, I suppose. I also gotta get back to training for the marathon. I can't believe I missed a month and a half — and now, I only have a MONTH (or less, rather) left to train for the Chicago Marathon. I have to be really disciplined to run everyday, rest one day, and do my long training runs in the weekend. Wow. I have a LOT ahead of me.
My goal is still, to finish the marathon in 4 hours 30 minutes. I don't know if I can do it, but I have to keep myself motivated and positive. This also means that I have to maintain a 10:18 minute/mile pace throughout the race.
I've already got spare running shoes that I'll be breaking in tomorrow. This means, I have two shoes that I'll be alternating (the same shoe — different color) just in case one breaks down before I do 😛
