…so they're here and all that jazz: Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. I actually watched the opening ceremonies and it was ok — actually, it was not too bad considering all the “house” music they played (unless you count that retro disco and 80's music ensemble when the nations were parading…)
Anyway, I'm just wondering about these weird medals:
I guess they're kewl and all but at first sight, they look quite odd. At first I thought they were compact discs (or DVDs)… Those silly Italians were prolly running late getting the medals done so had to make due with some punk CDs or summat! Wouldn't that be cool, though? CD/DVD medals… Then you can go home and play whatever's on that CD/DVD… heheh. 😀
