I woke up this morning with a wicked bad headache along with minor muscle soreness due to my 10 mile run the previous day. The headache lasted until about lunchtime. It was weird — it didn't feel like a migraine and it wasn't a regular “sharp” headache pain. It was just there, annoying the hech outta me as I worked. Anyway, it subsided after lunch (2 slices of pizza) and I was just happy it was gone. Looking back, I think I was dehydrated or summat. I didn't drink much water after my run yesterday. I normally have 2 bottles of gatorade: 1 before the run (a small bottle) and one after (a fairly larger bottle) — anyway, I just had one bottle of gatorade (before the run) and 2 small cups of water during, and another 2 small cups of water. It's certainly not the liquid intake I am used to, but I didn't feel thirsty afterwards (I think the water made me feel bloated). Later at church, I had 2 small cups of water as well and then I think that was it for my liquid intake. I got “water” through the various foods I ate (which, by the way, was more pizza for lunch, and 2 slices of pound cake for supper plus half-a-glass of chocosoy milk). Now that I think of it, I didn't drink any water before going to bed, too.
I was just going to take Tylenol or summat but I couldn't find any aspirin/ibuprofen at home. LOL. Time to go to the pharmacy…
