Notes:
I actually did two runs today but grouped the results them together — it's all the same. The first one is sort of a warm-up: 1.49 miles (2.39km) at a 11:26 mile/minute pace (run time: 16:58) — I burned about 136 calories, too. The second one was my first ever Pace Leader position during a training run; I've pace-led races before, but not training runs. Anyway, I sort of forget to stop my watch cos I had to go back and forth to pick up the people that slowed down from my group so this report is not as accurate as my other training run posts: 3.89 miles (6.26km) — keep in mind we only had to run 3 miles… the additional .89 is me running back to the people at the back of the pack, then then running back to the front and so on (I didn't have a person to 'sweep' so I was my own sweeper). I burned a good 390 calories, though, so it's all good. Tomorrow, I will see if I can manage to go home early and run 10 miles… I hate running at the dimly lit Manhattan/Hermosa/Redondo strand >_<
