It's probably just coincidence but 2006 so far is a mixed year for me; Q1, brought me my first speeding ticket in the 10+ years I've lived in California. Q2, was a bit better cos of the contests I won but sucked when my media drive died. Q3 wasn't bad at all except for England losing in the World Cup Quarter finals and a recurrence of my heat allergies with itchy rashes cos of the super-super hot weather, and Q4 — well, I got into a hit-and-run; first vehicular accident in some 8+ years since getting my driver's licence.
It sucked, too; I was hit from behind on the 405 around Venice Blvd. Although the traffic was stop and go, I still got a pretty good bump that caused some whiplash. Then the jackass gets out of his car, asks if I'm ok then tells me that we should probably handle this off-the-freeway. I stupidly agreed and stupidly got off; last thing I see is, well, I don't actually see his bloody car exiting; the wanker took off as soon as he saw my car in the off-ramp. Ugh. There's no damage to my vehicle after initial evaluation as called 911 to report it. The (cute) CHP officer arrived and said that there's nothing that can be done cos there's no damage to report and such. Anyway, I hope that Asian jackass driver (who was in a white sedan, btw, his car has California plates and has existing damage on the front passenger side of the hood) gets kicked in the balls whilst being bitten by African bees and fed chum through a funnel. Oh yah, I checked my car again and I think there is damage — rear right of the bumper. UGH!
So I don't even know what I'm rambling about. I suppose it's time to visit my Chiropractor again. Monday'll be my last day driving to my client in Century City (i.e., my schedule's opening up). That's should be the last I see of the wretched 405 (during rush hour anyway).
p.s., Oh yah, my Beloved Blues' 2nd match of the 06/07 premiership season was a defeat. 2-1 to Middlesborough. UGH!!!! Year of the Dog = Dragon Year's undoing.
