After an uninspiring and rather disjointed first half, my Blues finally showed a bit of life and completed some of the passes after a 2nd half penalty scored by Lamps. I'm not used to seeing my boys play this way; Kalou was all-over the place and seems as if he has not adjusted to the pace of English football. Lamps barely made an impact until the 2nd half; it was just really odd to watch a match like that. Blackburn had more spirit during both halves. Don't get me wrong, a win is a win and Drogba's strike after masterfully pulling away from his pushing defender was superb, but my Blues seem incomplete. I was going to watch the next match on telly (a re-broadcast of the Arsenal vs. Man City's victory) but felt somewhat deflated by the 90 minutes of Blues versus Rovers. We've already lost 3 points mid-week so the win today was just somewhat sweet.
Come on the Chels!
