A crappy 17-miler was remedied with a wonderful Sunday (ocean) swim. I like how things even out. ^_^ I wish I can say I got to nap in-between, but I literally did NOT have the time to just rest.
Most of the morning on Saturday was taken up by my run, then a quick lunch and shower then my sis, li’l bro and I were off to the AT&T Wireless store. My sis upgraded to a very nice Motorola Backflip, and bro got a cheapo Samsung phone (a replacement for his stolen iPhone!) From there we went to supper (yeah, it took us that long @ the AT&T store!) and then after supper, my bro and I watched the film Kick Ass. So I literally didn’t have time to nap!
Sunday was just as zany — swam in the morning, had lunch, hung out at a friend’s new apartment, got my pedicure [finally!] and then went to Church in the evening. No time to nap on Sunday either!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining! In fact, I’m very grateful for having a pretty exciting weekend and being healthy enough to do the activities I love. As if it wouldn’t get any more awesome, I capped it off with a delicious cupcake my sis got me at The Local Place:
