Our 7-year old scale that not only weighs you but also calculates your BMI is about to bid farewell… So now the task of finding a replacement is in effect.
You’d think that shopping for a scale is as simple as going to Target and picking one up, but with the newer scales out on the market and all the snazzy features available, this is turning out to be like researching for a major purchase (i.e, the way you’d research before you buy a dishwasher, refrigerator, or car, even!)
So perhaps I should start with my requirements: has to have at least a multiple user memory, accurate weighing capabilities, BMI, and water weight.
What would be ideal is to find a scale that does that and then some, like: visceral fat percentage, bone mass, resting metabolism, etc….
I realized as I kept typing for the features I wanted, the price of the scale rose! LOL I mean, since weight is not really solely representative of your health anymore (and I’m rationalising now), shouldn’t the features of a new scale be worth the price?
Stay tuned for my findings 😉
