Resolutions in May

It’s not really a half-year review but more of a refresher on my resolutions, which I conveniently did not publish for fear of being accountable by the (two) people that read my journal. 😉 Anyway, as the title suggests, I’m making some baby steps as far as my Nutrition!

My little (or I should just start saying younger, cos the dude is like taller and more muscular now) brudder was the one who actually wanted to eat healthier in May and I was a bit hesitant at first. However, reality checked in at my Active Fitness class last night and as soon as I got home, I told younger bro that I was in!

So, throughout the month of May, I want to accomplish the following:

1) 100g of Protein a day (20g brekkers, 10g snack one, 30g lunch, 20g snack two, 20g supper — or thereabouts!)
2) Eat more complex carbs and fibre (i.e., VEGGIES) This is my Achilles’ heel. I hardly eat veggies 🙁
3) Reduce sugar intake (i.e., sweets)
4) 1 glass of red wine a day 🙂
5) 30 minutes of movement a day

I’m keeping it at just 5 items which I will tick each day and hope in thirty-one days, this will be second nature! Who’s with me? *ahem* Sharoool? ^_^
