I might have gone too fast, too soon again today. I started reading this article on proper running gait (stride, foot landing, etc.) and was excited to try it out with my Vibram Five Fingers shoes that I went right into the run and didn’t warm up.
Well, about a mile and a half into the run, my right arch started hurting BAD! I ran on the grass for a while and then had to slow down to a walk because the pain wasn’t going away (it’s like, I sprained my arch or something).
I stopped just after 2.5 miles and will take this as lesson learned. I’ll baby steps next time. LOL.
