…sorta. Well, I can't even unlock my vehicle using my keyless entry remote right now. It doesn't have enough juice to unlock the bloody plastic doors. I called my bro and he mentioned that it's definitely the battery that's dead. He's experienced it before when him and my other bro used to drive that car. Apparently, the rain causes some sort of short with the vehicle that drains the battery. GREAT. So not only do I get wet inside when driving while it's raining, I also have to be careful 'cuz my battery might die. Loverly car, eh? Tomorrow, he's going to try to stop by and drop off his spare car battery, bring my car battery to Kragen's (auto supply store) and have it recharged there overnight. I'm hoping that it's just the battery that's the problem because I frankly haven't any more money to spend on that heap. I've already paid like $800 to have the brakes done, $600 to have the air compressor replaced, not to mention the tires I still need to get. UGH.
In other news, I've made great progress (not really) with my costume. I've completed the arm pads today and have begun cutting the “glove” padding. Tomorrow, I should be able to pick up some batting and stuff these things with it. I really need to start building the robe soon, too… Only 3.5 days to go! ACK.
